1. If you find your accessories are a little small when styling then why not stack a few books beneath and place your accessories on top. Not only will it rise up your decorative piece, it will add interest to the whole look.

2. Books are great for filling in the gaps in a vignette. Layer them horizontally to fill up a large space and to create interest. You'd be surprised how pretty a few books can look leaning against each other or tucked along side of something.
